Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling

Remodeling a kitchen or bath can add real value to your home. While kitchens and bathrooms are the most expensive rooms to remodel, you don't have to be apprehensive about it. I have worked on dozens of kitchen and bath remodels. Let me take you through my steps, and hopefully answer some of your questions along the way:

First, we will meet together at your home to discuss the project that you have in mind. This is when I listen to you. I want to know exactly what you want, how much you have budgeted, and what your expectations are of me. Only after I have listened to you will I offer my advice on design, materials, and possible cost-cutting measures.

After we have met, I will take your ideas and write up a proposal which will specify the scope of the work to be done. At this step, I can also provide drawings, if desired. I am very thorough during this process, including everything we initially discussed and clarifying all expectations. It is important to me that neither of us be surprised after the project has started.

After we have agreed on the proposal and all permits have been filed and approved, work will begin in the timeframe that we have agreed upon. I will start and end my work at times of day which are convenient for you. I will keep your house immaculate during construction. I own several vacuum cleaners just for this purpose. I will tape off the work area with plastic to keep dust from migrating through the house, and I will not leave a mess at the end of each day. You have my word on it!

Upon completion, I will immediately follow up with you to make sure everything is to your liking. I will also schedule a follow up visit with you 30 days after the completion of your project. If any issues were missed or have arisen since our final inspection, I can usually resolve them at this visit.

The remodeling process is very simple, and I promise to make it enjoyable for both of us from start to finish. I am a registered contractor with the State of Texas, and I carry all the necessary insurance as well. Professionalism is extremely important within my company. You will not have smoking, drinking, inappropriate language, or unkempt workers in your home. I will be respectful of your privacy and understanding of your needs.
